July 17 2008 - Extensive illegal immigrant network exposed in London

Undercover British reporters have exposed an extensive network of illegal immigrants based in West London. Unlawful jobs practices, miserable housing and an extensive trade of fake documents were all uncovered in the investigation. The immigrants were aware of the risks and remained closed inside crowded houses when not working. Although there was no shortage of work on offer, most were very long hours for as low as £2 an hour. Many of the illegal immigrants described one year trips through Russia and Europe on the back of lorries to arrive in the UK, costing thousands and thousands of pounds. In interviews illegal immigrants said although they were not happy in the UK living like they were, they were there only to send money home to their families. Since the report 3 men have been arrested and police have stated that the current crack down on businesses employing illegal immigrants has been successful stating that, “ We now hit businesses hard if they employ illegal immigrants. In four months this year we've hit over 33 times the numbers of businesses prosecuted last year. But businesses need to know who is legitimately here and that is why cards are so important”

If you have further enquiries on immigration to the UK, NZ, Australia or the USA , please contact Ambler Collins and we will undertake a complimentary assessment of your eligibility. Email us at; info@amblercollins.com
