New Zealand sources are advising that the telecom and construction companies are struggling to find qualified workers and Hudson is reporting that 43.5% of employers are expecting to boost employees in the first half of 2008.
The upper half of the North Island is booming and will take 54% of the sort employee's. All the Bank economists as saying the same - with low employment where are the staff going to be found?
New Zealand is being used as a source for the Australian Queensland and Western Australian construction and mining boom's and so New Zealand will have to go further a-field. In New Zealand Telecom is looking for 300 technicians for its broadband project.
New Zealand's unemployment rate is expected to be 3.3% by the end of next year.
