The NZ Climate is temperate and dominated by the fact that at anytime you are never far from either the mountains or the sea.
In the far north of the country they experience sub-tropical weather during summer, in the south island during winter temperatures
can drop to -10 in the alpine areas. However, the majority of country is next to the sea giving mild temperatures, little rain, and
ample sunshine.
As NZ is in the southern hemisphere the summer months fall from December to March, and Winter from June to August. Average temperatures
for summer are between 20-30 degrees and in winter between 10-15.
